This Week in Celebrity Fashion, Part III: Night Falls

The Hollywood Reporter's Emmy Party - Arrivals

While I don’t consider Stacy much of a star especially without George, I did take note of this dramatic look (probably courtesy of Brad Goreski).  That dress is fierce and one of the few times when sheer at the waist has worked.  The oxblood lips, which is trying to happen, is pretty strong but I’m not sure it works with the slicked back hair.

New York City Ballet 2013 Fall Gala

Drew continues to break my heart with yet another in a series of matronly, aging and figure-hiding looks that grandmas would turn down for not being sexy enough.

There’s something very Vegas Strip in the 60’s about this look and I’m loving it.  Ann Margaret tossled locks, fringe swinging – all you need is a martini and the Rat Pack.  Although I’m sure she’ll make do with The Gos.

Blue Jasmine UK film premiere

Cate is really feeling capes this season and if they keep looking like this, I’m all for it.  I love the way the bronze embroidery peeks out of the front and then is splashed on the front of the cape.  Paired with a drama of the halter, it’s a memorable look.
