This Week in Celebrity Fashion, Part III: Bold Blue & Lovely Lavender

11 06 2017

A lovely, soft look for Rachel.

First of all, I need to study Gabrielle’s posing because it’s next level.  I also love this simple tiered lace dress paired with dramatic hair.

I love the soft blue velvet.

Lavender & embroidered flowers?  Yes to all!

I prefer Nicole in her Hollywood glam look vs. her Stevie Nicks style.

This Week in Celebrity Fashion, Part I: Bold in Black

28 05 2017

An ethnic, slightly hippie look with loose waves for Nic.

I’m loving this sexy leather dress on Priyanka.

So we’re back to the sheer gowns again?  At least this variation features those sweet embroidered roses.

Sequins and feathers give this gown a dramatic flair and we hardly ever see Nicole with her hair pulled back.

I’m loving the soft hair and drapey layers of this day look.

I’m not sure what has more drama – Nicki’s hair or the train on her gown.

Marion must have needed security for the jewels but also a perimeter of clearance for that gown.

A little tuxedo midnight sky.

Obsessed with the jacket/sheer combo and in love with the pearl-ringed strappies.

Baby, you’re a firework!

Very sheer but also covered in this edgy silver.

This deconstructed dress is a dramatic abstract expressionist design.

A gorgeous way to wear sheer.

A fun red carpet look that’s also a standout.

Charlize is a fierce lace goddess.

This Week in Celebrity Fashion, Part I: Meet me at Midnight

9 04 2017

Navy & black combined into a midnight dress with a sheer surprise.

Jen stays true to her look, this time in sexy leather.

Loving this twilight sky gown, with an art deco vibe.

Someone’s feeling 80’s Madonna big time.

Great halter and pretty flowers.

This is an oddly ladylike concept that goes bad girl.

Oscars ’17: Metallica

It’s not that Diane forgot the fabric, it’s just that she decided not to actually wear it.

This bronzy copper is an interesting choice but I’m not loving the design.

Thandie’s been pushing the envelope lately with eclectic looks that feel a little purposely edgy.

You will get caught in Mary J.’s web.

Those curls still make me smile and I like this easy Grecian mini.

I feel like Amy’s worn some version of this gown at every event.

Jess must be catching quite a breeze.

Emily goes for a grown up and for her, covered up, feathered look.

Too much fabric and height in the hair.

This Week in Celebrity Fashion, Part I: Bright Ladies

12 02 2017

Regina’s golden girl gown is just the right amount of sexy.

Damn, Mary J.!  There’s no better way to celebrate Grammys weekend than to look like an actual award.

Fifty tiers of ruffles?

Such a flirty little dress with a slight 60’s babydoll vibe.

A soft color and an unexpected skin reveal.

Retro but also 2017.

A fantastic color on Mandy.

Unexpected colors and a design that stands out.

What a great color!

This Week in Celebrity Fashion, Part III: Lights On

29 01 2017

This dress is a 4 tiers of tragedy.  I don’t understand it and I don’t know why anyone would willingly wear it.

Even though it’s pretty, there’s something aging about this gown and it doesn’t help that it matches Nicole’s skin and hair color.

"Moonlight" - Special Screening And Q&A

Taking two tone to another level.  I’m feeling the striped one shoulder top but it’s the pants that seal the deal.

In the right weather, you can use those sleeves as wings.

Hello 80’s!

This Week in Celebrity Fashion, Part I: Darkness Falls

29 01 2017

I’m feeling Kerry’s sleek bob but I can’t stand her messy gown with way too many elements.  The poufy shoulders, sequins, random tulle and high/low create a look that’s both overwhelming and underwhelming. #fireyourstylist

This is what Nicole does so well, simple gowns that make the most of her fantastic frame.

50’s pinup silhouette with 21st century sass.

Loving the confidence of this outfit on a full-bodied girl.  And I’m obsessed with the awesome skirt.

Velvet baby bump coverage combining sexy and comfort.

So much unexpected design here – with the sheer pleats and rib cage reveal.

A dark princess look.
